PACKING TO TRAVEL
When packing for Costa Rica remember that when traveling in the tropics the weather is warm and temperate, but when traveling in the mountains it can get quite chilly, so pack accordingly. Loose cotton clothing is preferable when on the coast. Make sure to bring good waterproof sunscreen (minimum SPF 25) and you may want a hat to keep the sun off your face. If you plan on spending time in the mountains, you may also want to pack long pants and a pullover sweater as even in summer, it can get quite cold in the evening.

Surf Spot
Langosta is a lava-rock reef right with a shorter left. This break is located about 2 km. south of Tamarindo, and is often bigger than town because it is out on the point and picks up alot more swell. On the right swell direction, the rights can be lined up, fast, hollow, and perfect.

LOCATION
Playa Langosta is near the town of Tamarindo in Northwest Costa Rica in the Guanacaste peninsula. 10 minutes from the local airport and 50 minutes from the international airport. Playa Langosta Condominiums are located on the point of the Pacific Ocean and an estuary river mouth. A tranquil estuary perfect for swimming and kayaking is at your backdoor. There are national parks on both sides making a natural & tropical atmosphere perfect for long walks.

The climate is tropical and warm with a dry season November through April and a green season the rest of the year with tropical rain usually daily in September & October.
