    La Libertad

    La libertad is the country's most popular gateway due to the short 28 Km. drive from the city. Full of popular beaches with weekend houses and beach clubs, it offers great scenic landscapes ranging from rocky bays to sandy stretches of beach. Filled with a wide variety of perfect right points breaks each with beach front road access and restaurants up in front, and some of the contries most consistent beachbreaks. It also offers the biggest array of sea food restaurants from very fancy to the low budget range, and one of the country's most important fish markets.

    Here you will enjoy your stay in a private beach front apartment condominium that is conveniently located in the center of the main city around the breaks, Puerto La Libertad. Your accommodation include first quality room and board equipment with a kitchenette, cable and TV, salt and fresh water pools, scenic view to La Libertad's most important break: Punta Roca. We also offer an extensive video and magazine surf selections, and food delivery from the nearby restaurants. Food ranges in price from $4.00 to $120.00 for a lobster and jumbo shrimp platter.

    Puerto Mar Apartamentos
    Here you will enjoy your stay in a private beach front apartment condominium that is conveniently located in the center of the main city around the breaks, Puerto La Libertad.     Hotel Punto Roca
    Hotel Punta Roca at La Libertad, in front of " La Paz " beach, overlooking the pier. Sitting on top of Punta Roca Restaurant. It has two big rooms equipped with: one bathroom, a/c, surfboard racks, nice terrace with hammocs with over view of La Paz break and is 5 min walk to Punta Roca. You have the facility of eating right downstairs with great food, prices ranging from 4.00 to 15.00. Restaurant get`s packed on the weekends



    Hotel Arcos del Mediterraneo
    Hotel Arcos del Mediterraneo is a colonial designed place just one the outskirts of La Libertad. Quiet and away from the noise, they have nice pool and fountain, Restaurant and Bar Services, room service, conference room, AC and Cable in beach room, plenty of parking. NOT in front of the beach.



    Cabaņas Los Surfeadores (Playa El Zunzal)
    This is the next most famous break in El Salvador, it is a right-hand point that peels for about 150 yards. Steep at the peak it meshes for a while become step again on the inside. This is one of the most consistent spots in the country, and ideal for longboarders.

    Located just 8 miles from La Libertad, this is the home of the famous El Tunco rock which is featured in the movie Big Wednesday, a traditional hangout for surfers in the past 20 years. In this small village are a couple of nice restaurants in front of the rock, a couple small general mini stores, and a big private club in front of the break. Backpackers can stay at Hotel Los Surfeadores, a three story cabin lodge with a side view of the break.

    These acommodations are spacious simple rooms with fan, and terraces reaching over the side of a river. Expect crowds on the weekend, but pretty empty during the week. Once surfing there you will, notice a very nice left-hander breaking over an underwater point/rivermouth, but locals here are hostile and localize the spot strongly. Don't go there!





    El Cuco

    El Cuco Is a beauty by itself, being the widest and longest beach in the country. Surrounded by some really nice point breaks so perfect they became known as "the seven points. They include Las Flores, Punta Mango, La Vaca and Bongo point. With a wide variety of weekend beach houses, hotels, a little town with eateries full of fresh seafood, scattered maguey (alloe) and cow farms, It constitudes as a perfect set up for some of the most perfect rocky ledges and sand bottorn right point breaks. It is also nearby Playas Negras and Playas Blancas with scattered tiny points peaking between the sany beaches, A short drive to Playa El Tamarindo which constitutes a parasidical waveless beach, with views of the Fonseca Gulf and Nicaragua.

    Hotel Pacific Paradise
    The newest hotel built around the area, it has very comfortable and modern facilities and a bilingual staff. Bungalows equipped with kitchenet, bath and two AC rooms sorround a huge pool and restaurant sitting in front of the ocean. A full bed in one room and bunks on the other, dining table and pantry inside and a bench outside conform the bungalow`s. The restaurant serves an intl. menu and bar service. Lifeguard service on the weekends. Perfect for family trips or pampering the wife or girlfriend



    Tropic Club
    You can stay at Hotel Cabaņa TropiClub which has a/c suites and cabins with thatched roof, ceiling fan and A/C, private bath, and a nice grassy area with swimming pool water fountains and outside showers, and a hotel restaurant with an international menu





    K-59

    Km59 is a private beach area accessible only to owners and guests and offers powerful right waves with great tubes and fast sections. This point was unknown for many years, and is still a secret spot for some people here. You will have the surf at Km59 mostly for yourself, occasionally accompanied by friendly locals.

    There is also Km61,rigth point break which is only 500 mts. away from km59 and offers great waves with long rides and barrels. The coastal scenary seen from the water at Km 59 and Km 61 is breathtaking.

    EL ZONTE

    El Zonte is a beatiful cove containing a right surf point, it is less developed than the other breaks in La Libertad, so it contains a natural mistique to it. Very few places to eat but a very comfy camp reside here. A river separates the point with a strech of nice beachbreak and private weekend beach houses.

    Horizonte Surf Camp (Playa El Zonte)
    Right in front of a very consistant spot called Zonte with very nice settings and owned by a Japanese that now lives in here. It is a place that has swimming pool, hang out lounge, and thick walls so that it doesn't get hot inside the rooms. There are small rooms for two people up to big 5 people rooms, all with fans but you get the room according to your reservation.. Batrooms are separated but very clean and well constructed. There is a bar and they can cook typical salvadorean food or you can go outside where there are 5 restaurants right in front of the spot.

    Acajutla

    This is the most important commercial port on the northern part of the country's coast. This area consists of a wide variety of scenarios from rocky points containing barely populated right point breaks, to scuba diving reefs, deep water surfing, and one of the few left handers.This city does not offer as many restaurants as La Libertad, but still have great quality seafood. It is not as commonly visited and provides perfect uncrowded surf with only your friends.

    You will be lodged in our very own private surf camp. This is situated on a beatifull bay surrounded by mountains. Complete with a little river, rock caves, spring water fountains on the edge of the rocky ledges, trails around the mountains, and a farm environment, this is trully an awesome setting. Accommodations include very Spacious rooms with air conditioning, pool and children's pool, benches on the beach, a huge kitchen attended by our cooking and cleaning staff, a small basket loop, and an open dining room surrounded with huge hammocks. We recommend that you bring your favorite music (tape or CD) as well as lots of reading material.

    The surf consists of right point Mizata with a great beachbreak next to it, and Acajutla`s reef. Deep water reef surf accessed by boat or long paddle and inside reef shallow breaks of very good quality. The area is very unexplored and some breaks have only been surfed less than 50 times in 10 years

    Santa Rosa Surf Camp
    You will be lodged in our very own private surf camp. This is situated on a beatifull bay surrounded by mountains. Complete with a little river, rock caves, spring water fountains on the edge of the rocky ledges, trails around the mountains, and a farm environment, this is trully an awesome setting. Accommodations include very Spacious rooms with air conditioning, pool and children's pool, benches on the beach, a huge kitchen attended by our cooking and cleaning staff, a small basket loop, and an open dining room surrounded with huge hammocks. We recommend that you bring your favorite music (tape or CD) as well as lots of reading material.
